medium and large companies within the manufacturing and
distribution sectors. Providing fully functional ERP functionality,
this powerful vertical solution is an integral part of the Access
product range and follows a regular release programme.
With its broad-ranging, highly functional portfolio, Access
Supply Chain has a proven track record in a wide variety of
industry sectors including aerospace, automotive, electronics,
engineering, food & drink, pharmaceuticals and white goods.
Our highly experienced consultants have carried out thousands
implementations all over the UK and in Ireland, to a client base
that includes names such as Elsan, Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd,
Mackle Pet Foods and
The Cromer Crab Company.
Over the years, our Access Supply Chain solution has received
many accolades.
These include shared awards with our customers at prestigious
industry events including The Manufacturer LIVE, the MITCON IT
awards and at the Best of British Manufacturing Awards.
Functionality
The modules within Access Supply Chain are completely
interchangeable and come with powerful financials built-in. To
complete your solution, a host of optional modules are also
available including payroll and business intelligence.
For distribution companies, we provide features such as
telesales, advanced stock allocations, multi-warehouse control,
delivery load & route planning and hand-held barcoding. For
manufacturing companies, we offer production planning, SFDC and the
ability to deal with complex builds and recipes.
Usability
Like the rest of the Access product range, Access Supply Chain
utilises the Windows look and feel, making the system easy to use
and requiring minimal training. Integration with Microsoft Office
enables you to boost productivity across your operation, enabling
users to carry out standard tasks more quickly and delivering key
decision-making information to where it's needed. For example, this
enables you to attach documents to records, extract data into OLAP
cubes for offline analysis and monitor KPIs from within your
Outlook window.
Reporting
Within the manufacturing and distribution modules, all reporting
is provided by Crystal templates.
On the financials side, you have a choice of Crystal or
pre-configured reports. Using Crystal, you can quickly and easily
customise your report to your exact requirements: selected fields
can be added, moved or deleted, or graphics added. Anyone with
knowledge of Crystal can make the changes and you do not lose your
settings each time the software is upgraded.
Extensibility
Access Supply Chain is optimised for Microsoft's SQL Server
database. With this one common platform, extending your system can
take place easily and cost-effectively. This applies whether you
are adding or re-configuring modules, or adding one or many
hundreds of concurrent users.
Technology
Access Supply Chain is a fully connectable solution. Our SDK
includes an API (Application Programming Interface) for development
and integration of SQL applications, and a COM toolkit for linking
with all COM compliant applications. In addition, we provide a
Transaction Broker, enabling endless capacity for integration with
companion products and other 'Best of Breed' solutions. Using these
facilities, data generated on external systems can be updated
securely, seamlessly and in real-time, straight into the relevant
modules and on into your daily workflow.
This flexibility makes Access Supply Chain ideal for use in all
parts of the distribution and manufacturing industry, even those
traditionally dominated by specialist applications.
