Functionality
GoldMine is available in two editions to encompass the needs of
SMEs through to large corporations. Both the Premium and Enterprise
products cover the full CRM range of functionality, enabling you to
manage the full prospect/customer lifecycle from marketing campaigns and
opportunity pipeline
management to field sales, telesales and account
management.
GoldMine Premium Edition is suited to organisations requiring a
CRM solution built around best practice processes and rapid
implementation. For those businesses needing a highly flexible and
configurable solution, Enterprise Edition offers sophisticated yet
easy-to-use tools including business process automation, integrated
email, extended reporting dashboards and more.
Usability
All GoldMine products have a Microsoft-based interface that's
fully aligned with the Access 'look and feel' for ease of use. This
user interface is fully customisable, meaning your people only see
what they need to.
Integration with Microsoft Office makes it easy to extend
information held in GoldMine to your entire organisation,
regardless of where individuals are located or when they connect.
From this familiar environment, users can update and distribute
customer information, schedule resources and track client
interactions with ease. You can also create and attach PDFs to
correspondence and records via in-built integration with Adobe
Acrobat.
Available through Windows or via the web, GoldMine CRM can be
accessed from the individual user's desktop, or as an 'undocked'
user via a laptop or mobile device including BlackBerry. This makes
GoldMine suitable for your office-based or mobile users, without
the need to purchase individual user licences.
Reporting
Both editions include a comprehensive selection of Crystal
views. Integration with Access
Dimensions automatically entitles you to a full range of
standard financial statements along with a wide selection of
pre-configured reports. All reports are highly configurable and if
required, we can write specific reports for you. We can also
deliver tailored analysis through a number of other user-friendly
formats including online dashboards,
Microsoft Reporting Services and linked Excel spreadsheets.
Extensibility
GoldMine is easily scaled to meet the needs of your
organisation. Premium Edition will support 5 core users and
provides system access for up to 100 people. The Enterprise version
is suitable for 20+ core users and can be rapidly deployed to many
hundreds of remote users via a web portal. This makes it
particularly suitable for organisations wishing to provide access
to customers and suppliers as well as staff.
Technology
GoldMine utilises the same Microsoft SQL Server based platform
as the rest of the Access product range to provide straightforward
integration across your operations. This provides real-time
reporting and one-touch data entry between CRM and areas such as
finance, stock and projects (Access
Dimensions & FocalPoint) and service (Service Manager). Both
editions also support Customer Service requirements through
in-built Case Management functions.
Enterprise and Premium both provide straightforward Integration
with productivity applications such as BlackBerry (GoldMine
Mobile), and Outlook (embedded in Enterprise edition and via
GISMO/GISME for Premium). GoldMine Premium Version 9 will also
provide access to GoldMine CRM via Microsoft Outlook; this will be
available early 2010.
Premium Edition utilises client/server technology for connected
or undocked users, via GoldSync for two-way data synchronisation.
Web access can be achieved in GoldMine Premium via iGoldMine,
Terminal Services or Citrix. Enterprise Edition can be deployed
through a web browser, 3-tier connection (via a web server using
XML/SOAP) or a 2-tier connection (client/server).
Access privileges in Premium Edition can be assigned at database
and application level. Enterprise Edition also supports single
sign-on active directory integration.
