The Customer Services team

Access is dedicated to providing the best service for you. We're here to help manage customer satisfaction, assist with disputes and service issues, find responses for your Forum questions and liaise with all other Access staff involved in delivering your solution.

I'm responsible for the Customer Services team and have been working at Access for around 18 months - having escaped from London and 20 years in investment banking in a similar role. Every day brings something new and I love that we can interact with our customers, helping them achieve the best from their software. We work with you, to bring projects and issues to a happy conclusion. When dragged away from Access I love spending time with my family, cooking exotic food and going to quiz nights.

I primarily work on the front line liaising with customers and staff but I also work behind the scenes on projects. I thrive on solving issues for our customers, because it's rewarding and it helps me to understand our customer base and how I can help them best. It's definitely the most enjoyable element of my job. Well, that and being part of a friendly team - even if they do laugh at my love of green tea!

I enjoy working in Customer Services because every day is different. It stands to reason, because every customer is different! I enjoy the challenge of finding the answer to each different query, and it's definitely true that one size does not fit all! When I'm away from my desk I can usually be found buying (yet another pair of) shoes, or doing my kind of cooking: ordering pizza.

I really enjoy getting to know our customers: talking to them and finding out how I can help. It's that relationship-building that makes Access a genuinely fun and exciting place to work for me - and I enjoy the work events for that reason too. When I'm not at work I enjoy walking my Labrador and sailing - all topped off with as much travelling to hot places as I can fit in.
